UPDATE: I have decided to break up with the scale during marathon training. It’s a difficult relationship to end and I find myself wanting to run back into its manipulative and bastardly arms. I am still wanting to lose weight, but I’m using this time to become mentally healthy as well as physically healthy outside of a number. As I am going deeper into my recovery, I realize that I need to focus on wellness and happiness.
